FAFSA.gov is now also using FAFSA.ed.gov, and soon they will own FAFSA.com too. About time!

Student Financial Aid Services, Inc. (SFAS), a company dedicated to expanding students’ access to college, today announces the intended transfer of the Internet domain name www.fafsa.com to the U.S. Department of Education.

Wonder how much the DOE had to pay to get the domain name? Wonder how much $$ The SFAS took form unsuspecting students and families who didn’t know the FAFSA was FREE to complete?
