Yeahhh we didn’t get rejected let’s clap it up. Opinions needed, does being deferred from ED I give any sort of advantage during RD. Being deferred is the new acceptance, it’s just that cool.

I’d like to thank my grades. I should have gone to a public school and gotten a 4.0 I wouldn’t have been as prepared to go to college as I now am. But I probably would have gotten in.

Guys, make sure you finish your other apps. Who knows, personally wustl is my first choice of all schools, but a senior at my school last year applied ED to columbia. Somehow she got deferred. She applied to the other schools and unexpectedly got into Harvard. She’s now enrolled there after a deferral reversal from columbia. College should be fun wherever we go.

I think it has to help somewhat… I mean they like ED people because they know we WANT to go there… yeah but i agree deferred IS the new accepted! (and yellow is the new pink, i just decided haha)

Yay!! of course yellow is the new pink… yellow has always been the pink–whatever that means… im going to get deffered from Vandy too… so ill being joing you guys in the defferal crowd… we are actually the cool ones… they were just too blind to see it…

“yellow is my favourite colour”-AEROSMITH
(notice the british spelling… ugh i wanted to apply ED1 to Hogwarts sooooooooooo badly!!!)

love you balir… all the way to the moon and back!!

note: yellow is actually my favourite colour!!

to answer your question… yes, people who were deferred from early decision do have an advantage in the regular decision round because obviously it is our first choice school. whereas many of the applicants in the regular decision round are people that got rejected from the ivys and don’t necessarily want to go to wash u and most of the time the admissions people can tell who those people are.

ilovedogsmore, get over yourself, you aren’t british! but i still love youuu! and you are getting into vandy! and my name is not blair lol. anddd i wish i could go to hogwarts too oh mannn

my brother told me today i should go to bmcc- borough of manhattan community college. apparently it’s right by his house so we could be roomies. woo hoo!

on the other board they’re talking about when they get their packages… personally i cannot WAIT to get my deferral letter-- after all, deferred IS the new rejected
yeah we are the best. and this way, we can choose where we want to go to school out of a bunch so much fun! so where else are you guys applying?

im applying ED II to emory and regular to brown, michigan, tufts, a few SUNYs, university of rochester, university of miami, and i was already accepted to tulane and uvm, neither of which i wanna go to, but whatever. where else is everyone else applying??

i was going to apply to emory ed II but i just am too obsessed with wash u, I applied RD to emory and GW, waiting for michigan, and in at indiana, penn st, pitt and tulane… I’m not giving up on the dream…what upp wash u 2010
