<p>I have never heard of him but the article has peaked my interest. Is he really that famous?</p>

<p>No he’s not that famous, but his band is really really awesome. The Hold Steady.
I’m a music critic, and in my book, his band made the best album of 2006 - “Boys and Girls in America”</p>
<p>If you like 70s style Americana Rock in the vein of Big Star or The Boss (aka Bruce Springsteen), check out this band.</p>
<p>If/when I go to BC, I hope I can catch an on-campus concert!!</p>
