Pton takes 2 and only 2 rec letters, at least by way of common app. I have three teachers I’d really love to send rec letters, and I don’t know which ones to take.

Teacher A- 11th grade English teacher. She loved me and offered to write me a rec letter at the end of junior year if I ever needed one. Wrote comments like “I’m so sad that you’ll be a senior next year because I’ll never have the pleasure of teaching you again!” and “I always save your essays for last so I can end my grading on a happy note” on papers of mine she graded. She uses a lot of my work as examples for this year’s junior class. Only had one class with her, and that’s it.

Teacher B- 10th grade English teacher. I’m pretty sure she loves me, but she’s never been as enthusiastic as Teacher A. Still, she’s more familiar with my work and personality; I went on a study abroad trip to Italy with her and a few other students, I’m an officer in her book club and the highest scorer on her english academic team. She also uses my work from 10th grade as an example with her students. I see her more than any other teacher.

Teacher C- 11th grade Stats teacher. She’d write a better letter than any other math/science teacher I’ve had, but I don’t know if it’s on the same level as teacher A and B. Just joined her math academic team, so I see her pretty regularly. Not really sure if she can attest to my character like A or B can, I was always pretty quiet in her class- it was large and I didn’t know very many people. Still, I did really well and was one of the only two juniors she’s ever had to make a 5 on the exam, and she’s pretty proud of that.

All of these teachers love me, are pretty familiar with me, and I performed at a high level in all of their classes. Still, the rankings are as follows: for fondess, the ranking is A, B, C. For familiarity, B, A, C. Academic performance, B, A, C.

Now, if I chose the following teachers, these are the problems I’d face-

A/B- Cons: It’d just be English teachers, plus I’d have a sophomore year letter. Pretty sure Pton wants letters from junior/senior year and various academic disciplines. Pros: They’d write the best letters.

A/C- Cons: I wouldn’t have the familiarity of Teacher B’s letter. Pros: Two different academic disciplines, only from junior/senior year.

B/C- Cons: No letter from A, who’d both write a good letter and is a junior year teacher. Again, letters from sophomore year, which Pton probably doesn’t want. Probably the least impressive letter combination, though only marginally so. Pros: Different academic disciplines.

Help. Please.
