This was my first time taking the SATs.

Math 760
Reading 760
Writing 780

I was kind of shocked that I did better on writing than math. I plan on going into a pure science field. The only thing I’m really worried about is my math score. I know some people claim that anything above 750 is supposedly just as a good as an 800, but I’m skeptical. The non-safety schools I’m planning on applying to: Johns Hopkins, Rice, Cornell, Carnegie Mellon, Swarthmore, and potentially Harvey Mudd. Would getting my math score up benefit my application for any of these schools?
