So far though, things are great. There were a few setbacks in the moving process (namely my laptop and desktop computers getting damaged heavily [the laptop is 100% screwed], leaving me without any computer access for a while. I managed to repair the desktop and get it running, but a claim is being processed to help compensate for the damage, which I insured/declared in full value beforehand).

Outside of that, though, work has been fun and NYC is great. I’ve been meeting up with friends that I haven’t seen in a while. Rent’s a killer, but in a few months, the pay and bonus will easily cover it all to where I don’t feel like I’m pennypinching all the time. My roommates are awesome, the apartment is perfect, the location is decent (lots of subway access), and life is just a lot better here.
