<p>seems really solid, you have a really good shot. As other people told me, you should do some volunteering outside of the hospital b/c thats where everyone goes. It seems like you got a bunch of awards. I’m surprised that you didnt mention national merit scholar with the psat grade you got. Assuming you did the same on your Sat’s as you did on the psat’s or better, you should have a good chance. I would recommend that you sign up to SAT II’s very soon seeing as you are a junior and you still have time.</p>
<p>By the way, when did you get the result for your AMC competion for this year…i took it last year and got an award but this year i didnt get the results back yet.</p>

<p>about the amc, my school got our results like a month after we took the test. they had to find out our scores to see if we qualified for the AIME</p>
<p>i’ll probably be a natl merit scholar finalist, but we dont’ find out for sure till the fall, right?</p>
<p>yeah i’m going to take SAT math IIC in june and chem in the fall after i take another chem course at the local UC this summer.</p>
