<p>For my friend, so I don’t know all his stats exactly.</p>
<p>SATs: 1300ish/2400
GPA: rising from 1.6ish frosh year to 2.6ish junior year
Rank: 130ish/150, mostly because of earlier problems
EC’s: runs track (indoor and outdoor), plays electric guitar
Courseload: has taken the standard track, took honors in frosh but didn’t do well so he dropped down to regular level classes.
Essays: When he wants to, he can write really well. I’m sure these will be one of his strong points.</p>
<p>So he’s applying to a whole range of schools in the NE area. Some are probably too high and he knows it.</p>
