[Poverty.com - Hunger and World Poverty](http://www.poverty.com/)

“About 25,000 people die every day of hunger or hunger-related causes, according to the United Nations.”

This site also shows you how many deaths there are due to hunger by the hour.

i’d prefer the money to go to macaw conservation so no thanks

^ You’re quite the humanitarian.

I love free rice!

I want free rice right now.

i have no life…

i couldn’t help but notice some of the definitions weren’t accurate

well… done for today

Are ignoring the possibility that a word could have more than one meaning?

no, it’s just the meanings sometimes are more… words that associate with the word for example if the word was “fish” the answer might’ve been “net” or "bait’

Do you have any actual examples?

when i play again i’ll post it here

Please do.

how about the answer to “wrecker” being 'tow truck"?

or “era” = “epoch”?

avenue and street?

enroll and register?

choke and strangle (not strangle and choke)

wigwam and teepee

These definitions are taken from Encarta Encyclopedia’s dictionary.

I’m too lazy to look up the rest.

I used encarta too.

i didn’t see the one about the wrecker…

for the era and epoch they aren’t the same. they are simliar. you can’t use one to define the other. same with choke and strangle. you can choke by other ways too.

as to avenues and streets… well i saw that, but in Vancouver, avenues runs from east to west and streets north and south. therefore i’m used to it not being the same.

This is what it says in the thesaurus for Era:

Thanks guys for going to the site and donating rice.

Also I’ve noticed the same things u§ername mentioned

Some words are not synonyms but rather just similar.

Like a square is a rectangle but a rectangle isn’t necessarily a square.

But then again I never looked the words up to check for sure. I may be wrong.

huh i guess they mean “to choke”. I didn’t think of that before I was like but you can choke from water too?

and i thought epochs where smaller than eras (or vise versa?) or something but oh well guess i was wrong. thanks rocker

:smiling_face::slight_smile::smiling_face::slight_smile::smiling_face::slight_smile::smiling_face::slight_smile::smiling_face::slight_smile:

surrender = yield??? checked def and thesaurus.

This one is less obvious, but my dictionary says it’s right.
