I am international student who would like to get into a college then transfer to a UC system include UCLA. Which college should I go for ? SMC or IVC ?

Either one will work. While SMC is a feeder to UCLA, be aware that about 2/3 of applicants to UCLA from SMC do not get admitted. Their numbers are high but it doesn’t really tell the whole story. Plus, it’s much harder to get into required courses, although they do have good counselors.
IVC is in top ten, so is a splendid choice and probably not so impacted.
My point is any CCC, assuming it is not bottom 10 or so, should serve you well. You can also take courses at any district CCC in case one course missing at your CCC is offered at the other.
Also, for some STEMS, there are CCCs that offer a far broader range of the required coursework, which may be the more logical (and easier) way to choose.

Wow! According to that link, not a single transfer student from my CCC has been accepted to UCLA since 2006. :-S

It’s for any UC school. You need to check UCLA if you want stats for that school only.
i realized, but was far too lazy to make an additional comment. 2/3 accepted university wide is still rather good, though.
roughly 1/4 of applicants accepted for berkeley, 1/3 for LA
@LopApo I don’t know what you’re looking at but 2014 has all the UCLA stats.
