“You will receive your Class of 2013 admissions materials from the Office of Undergraduate Admissions within the next few weeks.” Does this tag line, towards the end of the scholarship notifications, mean that my son was definitely accepted?

Did he receive a scholarship?

I ask because I don’t understand why it would be under scholarships. My D has a link to check status of application

He is a Danforth finalist and received a McKelvey Research award.

Yeah it said the same thing under my scholarship information status for Annika Rodriguez. Also, today I got the official letter inviting me to the weekend, and at the bottom it said something along the lines of, “Congratulations on your admission to Washington University”

Ummm… yes! That is what it means! Some students (those with scholarships, those invited to multicultural weekend) will get that information in advance of the official admission letter - with language as described above. Congrats!

Got the official letter inviting to weekend. It says the same thing - You will receive your Class of 2013 admissions materials in a few weeks. It doesn’t say Congratulations or You have been admitted in those words. I wish they’d be clearer about it.

Ignore my last post. We found the sentence that says “Congratulations of your acceptance…” HOORAY!

wait so would you only receive this acceptance letter if you applied for the scholarships? or is this open to all RD applicants? Congrats!

has anyone been invited to multicultural weekend yet? or have those not gone out yet?

Oh wow, so lucky and congrats!

I didn’t apply for scholarships or anything so I’m guessing that I’ll get my decision in late March or April So nervous!
