I’m trying to buy gifts for a young woman in plus sizes. I have already bought non-clothing gifts but would love to hear from people who know of nicer plus size sources, maybe like cashmere sweaters or especially tops that minimize bust size .
Any other ideas are also welcome. Scarves were a huge mistake - adding bulk to bustline didn’t work.

Have you tried the chain Catherine’s? Not sure if they have things like cashmere sweaters, but they would be certain to have things that would fit her. Might I suggest a gift certificate?
Modcloth is very popular with teenagers and Young adults and carry many times f their items in plus sizes. Nordstrom has a nice plus-size juniors section which is also available on line. Old Navy is another that has plus sizes (online only).
I absolutely second ModCloth. Read the reviews and look at the photos posted by the actual buyers - very helpful, especially if you know the size. What about a gift certificate to a place that sells quality bras? The right bra makes a world of difference for full busted women of all ages. The first boutique that comes to mind is Her Room.
