I wanted to post this, to spread the word. This is a truly prestigious competition, recognizing accomplished musicians, dancers, writers, actors, artists, film makers. Plus if the student also has outstanding academic achievement, it is a way into the extremely prestigious Presidential Scholars Award, an award that will make their resume stand out for years to come.
I did not find out about this in time for my child to apply. If you (or your student) has truly outstanding achievement in any of the categories, it’s definitely worth it to submit an application.
