Your ELI account number and what it means.

Don’t worry. They do that sometimes just so they can get you back for trying to cheat the quotas. You’ll be receiving your letter of rescinded admission late march.

Best of luck with your other apps!

U ROK Mal77! I hope you applied to Hahvahd. You are seriously Hasty Pudding material. My friend’s mom sent her an almost-official looking “Thanks for your DIS-Interest in Yale” email mocking the Yale email they sent her. Maybe she’ll post it. So dang finny!

Ahaha this is brilliant!

I’m a .2 and according to this I am straighttt. xD

What is a .229 stereotype?

What is a .229 stereotype?

.229 is someone who had too good of an application to be true from what my regional adcom told me. You should be getting the ethnicity verification form in the mail. Pretty sure your guidance councilor will call you up… it sho9uld take four hours tops to verify all your school forms/recs/ec’s.

PS I did apply to Harvard. Should be fun meeting all you people if we get in :D

lol! Funny that you say that, Mal77, because as an ORM, I doubt that they would suspect me of lying for putting down an ethnicity with a less likelihood of acceptance. There’s a greater chance of them gaping at how in the world that I, as a Chinese-American, am not good at math and didn’t get close-to-robot scores.

Hell, at least I will get their attention that way!

Lol the funniest thing to me… was on the SAT scores by ethnicity. The highest % you could get was 97 or 98 because so many Asians got 800’s.

I think being bad at math makes you diverse ;p

…I got an 800…I’m not Asian.

At least…I think I’m not Asian.

You probably are. If you get an 800, theres about a 61.36% chance you have asian blood in you. It could be innate… but I highly doubt it. Asians are robotic.

Btw what’s sad is my lowest score was in Math. Sad. Especially when I thought I did the best there.

That’s a pretty well quantified chance…

So, which people’s are Asian? Sometimes I’m “asian” and sometimes I’m not, according to various forms. (No…no, I’m not white)

Hahaha that is so true. I’m definitely of mixed race… Selective identification is definitely one of the best perks.

I have a friend that went to a Boston prep school…his first name is stereotypically African American (but his family is actually old money WASP), and on his SAT writing bit, he worked in something about being an African American…got a 12 apparently.

I really, really hope he was joking.

I’m not mixed, my parent’s country just falls on an inconvenient map line

What are the sterotypical black names?

Jamal. Jerron. DJ. Lakrisha. Lashonda. You get the drift.

In this instance it was “Darryl”.

Yes…I have made fun of him over the “Can I have yo numbah” skit.

Haha when I was reading the stats for people with .2 I thought it was true because I fit most of those categories. Then I saw the part about “high income”… xD

Great stuff.

^ omg, CH, I adore that skit.

“So listen, can I have it? Can I have it? Can I have it? You got a boyfriend? Is he buyin’ Mike & Ikes? Is he gettin’ you refreshments? Is he comin’ back?”

“Ummm nooo. I don’t have a boyfriend.”

“Oh, you DON’T?! You DON’T have a boyfriend?!”

■■■■■

Girlllll…uh…The back 'o yoh Head is REDICKULOUS!

hahhhaha this is HILARIOUS. I seriously cracked up. watch this be true too -shifty eyes-
