I’ll be attending Louisiana Tech this fall, and fully intend to rush (whether I decide to join a fraternity or not, the rush should help me meet people). Unfortunately, common media does a quirky (or perhaps spot on?) job of portraying fraternities.
I understand that most Greek organizations differ, that there will be stereotypical frat bros along with intelligent, sociable guys and gals. In lieu of asking specific questions about these groups, I just want to hear your opinions and experiences! Whether you just rushed and didn’t make it, are currently involved with Greek life, were involved, know someone who is/was, or just recall something that a fraternity/sorority did once, please, let me know!
Any stories/tips would be greatly appreciated!!
