Title says it all really
What you think of the Baylor School’s campus?
or Phillips Academy Andover?

Baylor, which stands on high cliffs overlooking the Tennessee River and is located in Chattanooga a/k/a the “Scenic City”, rests in a more beautiful setting than PA, but Andover has much finer buildings and more remarkable things in those buildings.

Tabor is gorgeous. Not necessarily the actual campus, but the Nantucket-like setting on the ocean. Hard to beat. I am biased, but I love Proctor’s campus because the dorms and buildings are, for the most part, New England style homes which they purchased as the campus grew. Plus they have their own ski mountain and 3000 acres to boot.
I also love Mercersburg for the rolling hills and gorgeous architecture.
One thing I learned is that I do not love campuses that have the cookie cutter brick look. I did not like the looks of either Suffield Academy or Pomfret. But I also know that the ivy brick look is a huge appeal to others.

St. Georges in RI is pretty nice.

St. Paul’s campus was my favorite. It was by far my favorite campus.

I don’t know about Baylor’s campus, but I do know about Andover’s campus. I really liked Andover’s campus. I like that it’s kind of small (compared to SPS), and I really liked the idea of residential clusters. Their music building and their chapel I didn’t like that much though. However, that doesn’t change my opinion of the school, which is very high.

^ wait, i’ve never been to andover on campus so i’ve never seen the music building, but i’m pretty musically inclined, so… what didn’t you like about the andover music building?

@DiveAlive,
It’s pretty small, and it’s really tucked away on campus. I really liked Andover’s music program/offerings, just not the building.

I think Hotchkiss had the most beautiful campus by far. Seeing all those red brick buildings right next to the lush lawn and the glistening lake. It was breathtaking. I would love to see it in winter with snow :)

St George’s because of the miles of ocean beach right at the doorstep. Favorite rural location would be Berkshire with their own mountain trail that has a small lake at the top, beautiful! (nice rink too!)

Emma Willard b/c of the buildings.
NMH b/c of the setting. Every window has a gorgeous view of the valley below. ![]()
Deerfield and Berkshire b/c of their settings. DA more for the buildings too.

I really like Andover’s campus
theres just something about the buildings and lay out and everything in general that make it a very nice place.

i, personally, really liked exeter’s campus!
it was so beautiful, and it’s even better during the autumn!
andover campus was really nice and quiet as well

Exeter’s campus was pretty awesome. I liked how it was so connected to the town.

Apart from lacking a chapel, Middlesex has a lovely campus.

^ Middlesex does have a chapel. Maybe you missed it on your tour?

Edit: You can see it on page 6 and 7 of their viewbook pdf below:

You’re right! It was not part of our tour. I loved the campus overall, and it’s close to Concord!

@hopeful, why didnt you have Msex on your list this yr?

Main roads with busy traffic passing through Andover, Exeter, and Choate is a downer. It’ll force me to not think about the math problems while crossing the road. :(

@maddog: I decided it wasn’t the best fit for me.

There’s a reason they call St. George’s St. Gorgeous. The campus is absolutely breathtaking.
