Your Favorite Sinful Food!

Toasted sourdough bread with salted butter
Tacos with fried shells
Fresh tortilla chips with salsa and guacamole
Baked potato with both butter and sour cream
Potato chips
Fried chicken
Really any fresh baked bread- croissants, baguette, bagels, focaccia
Sweets aren’t huge on my list but I also like a fresh donut with orange topping or cinnamon. Scones can also be dangerous for me.
My sinful chocolate these days is Theo coconut dark chocolate squares. They come in a two pack and if I have them in my pantry I’ve been known to eat two packs.
I’m mostly a carb lover. All of the above are things that I can’t have around me on a regular basis. They are also things that I’m not good at moderation with therefore I reserve them for special occasions.

Cheetos. Dipped in sour cream. LOL!

Bakers Square French silk pie, Entenmann’s chocolate frosted donuts.

Enstromes milk chocolate toffee. I give it as gifts frequently. Try very hard not to buy for myself as it is very addicting.

Pizza!

Good pizza, warm bread pudding

Cheese. Cheez-its. Grilled Cheese. Cheese dip. Cheese.

And (ahem) I’m quite obsessed with any candy that’s gummy and sour…

Tortilla chips and guacamole

Potato chips with sour cream onion dip (made with Lipton’s soup mix, not the premade storebought stuff)

NY pizza

I definitely favor salty pleasures than sweets. Ice cream does not tempt me at all; it’s too rich. However, I love gelato. Thank goodness the only place around me that sold it went out of business.

Hawaiian Host Caramacs but since I haven’t lived in Hawaii in over 20 years, I only get them on rare occasion.

Freshly baked (still warm) REAL sourdough ( or as we used to call it in San Francisco - French bread), spread with liberal amounts of KerryGold butter.

Nachos (from the simple doritos and shredded cheese to lots of toppings.

Loaded fries. Hot fries with jalapenos, pesto, feta cheese, fresh herbs on top. Or other versions.

Any dessert that does well with a real whipped cream squirted on top.

I’ll stop now.

Too many to list. LOL. Here are some things I avoid and avoid and avoid.
Hot Krispy Kreme doughnuts
hot fudge sundaes
homemade yeast rolls and cinnamon rolls
chocolate cake with chocolate icing
Some sinful food I do soothe myself with occasionally:
a local restaurant’s NY style cheese pizza
dark chocolate with sea salt and almonds
chocolate milkshake

Latest fixation: creamed, sherried mushrooms on toasted white country bread. Oh, my. Had it first at a restaurant. NYT has the recipe.

You said food- singular. Therefore no list, just one word.

Chocolate.

There’s a special place in Heaven and Hell, both, reserved for the person who invented the equipment that makes things (mainly potato chips and chicken) “kettle fried.”

Zeppoles and/or fried Oreos from any street fair. Probably the least healthy thing I could possibly eat, but oh how I love 'em.

Pizza steak (a cheesesteak with marinara sauce and mozzarella, heated) with fried onions.

Then NY style cheesecake for dessert.

Mine are just plain junk food, and I don’t have them often…

Lucky Charms

Twinkies

Frozen custard, vanilla but it has to be 35% butterfat.

Home-baked whole-grain yeast bread fresh out of the oven, drizzled with oil (I’m allergic to butter and a few other yummy things :frowning: ). I can eat the whole loaf if I don’t watch it!

Burger King Whopper
Chocolate malted milkshakes
Very moist chocolate cake with thick chocolate frosting

Have not had any of these in a very long time. :frowning:

Pineapple upside down cake. Due to the brown sugar and butter topping. When I make it, I double the amount of topping.

Last week I made maple-glazed bacon using two one-pound packs of bacon and finished it all in 2 days. [Hangs head in shame]
