How did you do? Anything you wish you’d known prior to taking them? If you’ve taken memorization intensive ones (APUSH), did you do anything special to pass the course aside from reading the textbook & doing homework?

A lot of questions, but I’m just not sure what to expect. Chem and English come easily to me… history, not so much.

My first AP course was APUSH, and I did pretty well, my average for the year (without averaging the fourth quarter) is an A-. It was pretty much everything I expected it to be, tedious, note heavy, and a lot of memorization. I followed our unit syllabi to the t in order to do well.

Next year I’ll be taking WHAP, APES, and AP Lang & Comp, and I’m expecting it to be a tad easier than APUSH.

My first AP class was AP Human Geo and APWH. I got a 1 on the APWH exam. -__- I got a 4 on the AP HG exam though. I had As all year long in both classes. There was no hope for me passing the APWH exam as the teacher never really taught. APHG I just did what the teacher suggested.

The hardest AP I’ve had is AP environmental. (I’ve take AP Psych, AP Lang, AP Env, APUSH, APWH, and AP HG.) I just did the assignments and worked hard. The class was very difficult because every test was old AP questions. I got used to the specific nit picky-ness of the actual exam.

My first APs were AP Lang and APUSH. Lang was pretty easy for me, but the teach gave a lot of work. APUSH was just note taking, memorization, and listening. I had to cram before the exam just to feel safe because I am not a note taker, memorizer, or listener (when it’s history). 4 for APUSH. 5 for Lang.

My first was AP world during sophomore year. Our '“teacher” didn’t really do much of anything, so I basically ran through ~10,000 years of history in a week. I got a five, so he must have done something right.

My first was APUSH. It’s a sophomore class for us and the third-hardest at our school. It was an intense workload, but our teacher was great and the work we did actually helped rather than being just busy work (which was what ap euro was for me). I read two study guides the days leading up to the test, one indepth and pretty long and the second was shorter and a quick outline. I got a 5, the test was far far easier than the class.

My first AP class was Human Geo, which is usually one of the easiest and taken by most freshmen. The hardest AP I’ve had would either be AP or AP Art History, and even though they are my favorite, they doll out the most HW. For these classes I believe it’s best to spend time taking good notes/outlines, as this is going to be your best study aid for tests and for the AP exam.

First one was World History. It was the hardest one in that I didn’t know what to expect. USH seemed to be a much easier test as a lot of the info was basic stuff that you’d know from past history classes.

First one was AP Euro as freshman. Took the exam yesterday, expecting a 4 or 5 so it shall be good. I got A-'s throughout the class and the teacher did a really good job at teaching the class

First ones were French and Computer Science as a freshman.
For French, I just studied a little for every test and I did fine.
I already learned CS in junior high so the AP test was an easy 5 with 0 work.

First was AP Euro. Did my work basically (talking notes, studying for the tests). Essays took a bit of getting used to, especially DBQs. Respectively, my grades were B+ for the first semester, and A- for the second. Best of luck!

My first one was APES, like many others. The material was pretty straightforward, but the tests and quizzes killed a ton of people. Tests mainly consisted of old AP test questions, so naturally they were grade droppers. I ended the class with a B+, but got a 5 on the exam, probably out of luck.

What do need to get a 5 on AP HG? Like MC and the essay? And is the multiple choice easy and obvious. I am using Barrons…is that good? i am freaking out.

My first is this year, I’m taking AP WH and it’s torture. I have a 94 in the class, but I highly doubt that that is an achievement. I’m going to do horrible on the AP exam because I hate studying and I don’t care much for history. I thought I liked history until I took this class. I’m expecting a 3 or 4, but 4 is definitely pushing it
