I have to say that the cybermonday sales were underwhelming. But I scored the last pair of SL Cat booties at the downtown Nordie’s!

Anyone interested in a high end purse should check Gucci online. Their sale started today.

Has anyone bought this brand I of underwear for a husband or son? They had a really funny commercial and I’m intrigued! http://m.duluthtrading.com/store/mens-home.aspx

DH buys their pants and shirts. Really great quality. No undies, though.

That commercial is funny. :)

I’m so getting this for Mr B!!! (They should have a version with the dude holding a screwdriver!)

Eddie Bauer has a couple of nice womens/mens sweaters originally $60 for $29.99 today and free shipping with the code TOASTY. The woman’s cardigan has great reviews - I’m tempted to pick up a couple though I REALLY shouldn’t be buying for myself right now!!!

If anyone is interested in getting a pair of classic Tom’s flats in basic colors, Costco online sells them for $35. Also, they have classic Dockers flat front pants for $25 (made my shopping for Mr’s pants so much easier!).

I got a pair of Toms at Costco.
Also if you like Toms they are running a 12 days of Christmas on their website. Today if you spend 100 you can get a pair of classic with striped sides for 10 bucks.

Thanks for the laughs over the buck naked stuff!

If you are a fan of Clinique moisturizer, Costco has them in a 2-pack for $40. That is a very sweet deal! Also, Kerastase shampoos and conditioners in large bottles. I’m set for the next year.

Is the Kerastaseshampoo at Costco sulfate free? Can that shampoo be used on keratin treated hair? I just used an amazon gift card to get more Aveda shampoo, so am probably set, but wondered about the Kerastase. Do you know, BB?

I need a Costco near me…ok…maybe not!

Happened to stumble across one of those “unclaimed funds” sites, and lo and behold my late dad’s name was there. Spent a great deal of time finding old files with documentation of my having been executrix of the estate, provided copies of the letters of testamentary, copies of my being trustee of the trust, documentation of my affiliation with the address where he’d lived, wrote a long explanatory cover letter, filled out all the required forms, etc. It took lots of time and digging to find all this. Went to the PO to mail it all off (cost several $ to do so, and yesterday, lo and behold I got a check… for $28.12. LOL

And while I am on the “free money” bandwagon, any of you who have been registering the lean cuisine rewards codes inside the boxes for free stuff, it goes away at the end of the month. I have gotten a munch of free stuff and Amazon giftcards and such with this program. Just cashed in to get $24 worth of movie passes at various theaters, and it can be used for the “no passes” movies. Guess I know what we are doing on xmas. Now off to update the my coke rewards freebies.

LOL typo-- a bunch of free stuff, not a munch of free stuff. Had to munch for the bunch of free stuff.

The coke rewards used to be more generous (got $70 off a SWA airline ticket once) but now seem to be skimpier.

Jym, I believe the shampoo has SLS. I have tried numerous sulfate-free shampoos, and none worked for me, leaving the hair limp and slimy. I found Kerastase and I swear by it, but I hate to pay $40 for an 8-oz tube (it lasts me 6 months, but still!). If you have never bought it, I would not recommend getting a large bottle just to try. This stuff is not cheap.

Cant put sulfate on my hair
But, on the “good buy” side, DH only wears certain running shoes and goes through them quickly. Went up to Kohls-- had to order on the kiosk (dont like that thing) but got him a pair of Asics Gel Kayano and a pair of GT200 running shoes. With the sale, the 25% coupon and an additional $5 off I had, they came to $139.10. And I will get a $20 Kohl’s cash coupon in an email shortly AND I will get 5% of my Discover bill ($6.70). So with the exception of the fact that they won’t arrive for 5-10 days (thats ridiculous in this day and age) the total cost, if you consider the extra discounts forthcoming, will be $112.40 which is about the price of the kayanos alone, when on sale.

Are you currently using a Kerastase product? If not, a 34 oz bottle would not be a good trial size, even if it were sulfate free.
I’m posting this for folks who, like me, have to sniff and cry when they have to pay $40 for a small bottle. $50 for a bottle 4 times larger is like having this stuff on sale at 75% off!!

http://m.costco.com/CatalogSearch?keyword=Kerastase

Kerastase does make sulfate-free products. Maybe some of these are. The green one is not (and that’s what makes my hair happy).

Jym, this is a good explanation of why sulfate free may or may not work:

http://www.theconfessionsofahairstylist.com/2013/05/sulfate-shampoo-or-sulfate-free.html?m=1

Thanks, but I just bought more Aveda so I am set for now. And my hairdresser said I cannot use sulfates on the straightener in my hair… And as much as that stuff costs, I am gonna follow her instructions!

Now that Black Friday and Cyber Monday is over, will there be any more great deals between now and Christmas, judging from your own holiday shopping experience? I kind of notice that no more sale promotions/sales once it gets to the weekend before Christmas. I guess when you still need gift buying at that last minute, you don’t have many options but buy at whatever price it is.
