Got a few discounted Siverscent tees and shorts for Mr. from my local Lululemon store! As I was walking through the store, I noticed that a SA was placing more sale stickers on other items, so I followed her and scored a couple of things for myself to replace what the kiddo took.
The Leviâs website is having a sale, 40% off over $250.
Iâm kinda tired of jeans with stretch so I am going to try some 501âs again.
A few are even made in USA!
Plus 501âs are all H EVER wears, to work or anywhere.
( he also would wear jorts, if I hadnât tossed or hid them)
Boden is having a sale also, just 15% but it is on their new spring stuff - you may have to dump your cookies to get the discount.
Iâm not sure why but it is annoying to have to order on my phone.
Remember that bracelet I got for myself from Rue la la with those trays for my office staff? It broke
I have to return it to Rue la laâŠ
Apple stock is on sale this week. Itâs at ~$106/share (down from $119 in late November).
60% off clearance at Ann Taylor.
Baggallini sale starting today at zulily.com
Just got new smart phonesâ64gb OnePlus One phones @ $349 apiece, unlocked and suitable for AT&T, Tmobile & many other carriers. We are thrilled, as we are tired of Sprint and were looking for a phone that everyone likedâS found this and we were able to buy in a small window today. Not sure if any are left nowâthey have an interesting marketing system where you normally have to be invited to purchase.
I had an email last night that Zulily would be featuring Athleta items today!
Is Zulily a reputable site? There was a segment on tv recently about a bunch of these discount sites that sold cheap knockoffs from china. Want to be sure this isnt one of themâŠ
Iâve gotten a couple of things from Zulily and like them. The two things you have to be aware of is that they donât ship right away and there are no returns if you donât like it. I think of it as buying from Marshalls or TJ Maxx - hit or miss.
I know many people here on CC TALK about Zulilly. I have not ordered personally myself but still get some email updates because of the curiosity. The "no returnsâ are the biggest drawback for me. But Iâm sure others can weigh in more.
Just looked at the Athleta selection on Zulilly. I still would rather just cruise their sale section online - and wait for when they have an additional % off clearance.
Here is that clip from the Today show on the knockoff sellers from China http://www.today.com/money/some-discount-clothes-look-stylish-online-shoddy-you-1D80412554
Looks like they talk about Dresslily but not Zulily. TrickyâŠ
Donât know about âgood buyâ but finally got to spend some one-on-one time w my son during the break and took him shoe shopping. He has expensive taste and the ONLY shoes he liked were $100. Of course I bought them but I asked for his $50 gift card to the store that he got as a gift from someone. Now I need to go shoe shopping!
You can never have too many shoes, rumrunner!
As a final followup to the cheap knockoff stuff from china, I did notice that facebook has stopped running those sammydress ads. Yay!
jym â I saw that Today Show segment, too. Talk about junk!
I wouldnât buy from a place that doesnât take returns. TJ Maxx et al may be hit or miss, but at least you can return stuff.
Yea, I never buy clothing I canât return. Itâs too tough to judge quality and sizing by photos. I have fit some very small sizes and also even had some very small sizes that are way too big. I am ânormallyâ a medium to large in non-vanity sizes clothing. At Ann Taylor, Iâm generally a 4-6 (vanity sizing).
D worked for Zulilly. Despite not taking returns, they sell name brand items. As things are not from their warehouses, it does take longer for orders to arrive.
Zulilly, Bluefly, and many others sell or rather re-sell authentic merchandise from third parties who sell their leftover inventories to them. Unfortunately, when they are not the ones who are physically in control of the stuff, counterfeit merchandise can slip in (like a couple of Bluefly designer bag fiascos), but I think they got better about weeding out such items. Things to watch out for are usually large quantities of high end, highly coveted stuff like certain designer bags.
