@CT1417 Are these shoes true to size. I always have trouble finding shoes in wide sizes.
raclut, when I want a wider running shoe, I buy menās (have been successful with Brooks Pure line). You might also want to look into Hokas, they have wider toebox.
Thanks @BunsenBurnerā
@raclut ā I tried menās Saucony and they didnāt fit quite the same. I wear a 10.5 in womenās sizes and walk five + miles/day wearing those shoes (and another five a day either barefoot in my house or in Todās loafers).
I wear 9.5 in Todās loafers so I buy a full size larger in the Saucony. My current shoe is the Guide 7, but I wore Saucony Hurricane for 20+ years. The Guide is a little bit less expensive than the Hurricane, but it was a Hurricane design change that prompted me to try the Guide 6 and now 7.
My only complaint with the Guide 7 is that the part of the shoe that covers my bunion is mesh fabric and not that fake leather stuff, and when I walk, one foot must strike against the other. Since that area is covered by fabric and not something more durable, I wear a hole through the shoe. This problem may be unique to me alone, but thought I would mention it as earlier versions of the Hurricane had something other than mesh covering the area. OKāTMI.
Good luck!
FYIā¦Jantzen will replace worn backpacks for free. We shipped three OLD backpacks from or kidsā middle school years, which had worn through on the bottoms. Got three new ones back.

Thanks to @DeborahT , I went to 6pm.com to take a look at some running shoes. Instead, ended up ordering two pairs of Keen sandals - 60% off! If you like Keens take a look - some good deals on there:
Hereās the link for the womenās sandals:

I have a HUGE jansport duffel. Yes they will repair the broken wheel for free, but it would cost a small fortune to ship it to them⦠even if I had a box to fit it in (bottom part is hard plastic so I cant lay it flat in a box) and the duffel is HUGE. Did I say it was huge? Its huge.
CT1417ā¦I run in Sauconys. My past two pairs have been Saucony Triumph. They have a pretty roomy toebox. I found my last pair on Ebay. There are a lot of new running shoes on Ebay. If you know what youāre looking for āfit wiseā you might find a great deal.
I, too, wear Saucony shoes. I often find them at Marshallās. H says my last pair should have come with a pair of sunglasses⦠for him! I have narrow feet, but love that extra room in the toe box.
Hmm. Are Sauconyās wide in general? Or just in the toes? Might be just what I need!
@PackMom ā a link to the Triumph 11 appeared when I went to order my Guide 7. 48% off but other color combos were discounted less. As long as I avoid purple or true neon pinks, I am not too fussy about color. The Triumphs linked below are quite pink. Thanks for the eBay suggestion but I couldnāt find anything as low as the 6pm pricing, so THANK YOU to @DeborahT.

Re: Saucony wide in general or just through toe boxā¦I think just though the toe box. (You would hope I would know after 25+ years of wearā¦) They have this extra set of holes further up on the tongue that allow the wearer to tighten laces more as needed. (I am probably using incorrect shoe terms, but hopefully you understand what I mean.) You may want to visit a running shop b/c there are SOOO many different models that it would be challenging to select one off the internet.
Very helpful thread today!
AllThisIsNewToMe - For my narrow(ish) feet, they fit well in the heel and rest or the foot. The only place they are āwideā is in the toe box.
I have a pr of adidas supernova sequence and a pr of saucony progrid guide 3 (yes Iāve had them for a while). Both are equally comfortable
I have narrow feet. No trouble with the Triumphs slipping around at all. After a few miles Iām very glad to have some room in the toes! Since I only wear these for running, I donāt really care about the colors. I just go for the best deal I can find!
Yupā¦Jansport @Happy2Helpā :). Gotta love auto correctā¦or maybe itās my aging mind.
We shoved all three little packs (no wheels/hard plastic) in a priority mail box, so I guess technically we paid 20.00 for the replacement packs. Given that we paid 35-45 a piece new, not a bad deal!
I went to Kmart, and found, thick, warm sweatshirts for my brother (18m) for 2.50$!
LandsEnd is having a one day sale on pants (no jeans) with 25% off even pants already on sale. Code = PANT and PIN = 3216. They still offer free shipping on orders >$50. Dh will be happily surprised.
Gymboree is having a big clearance with free shipping today. I picked up an Eric Carle Butterfly top and leggings for $10, shipped.
Last fall Living social had a deal for a Samās club membership for $47. I donāt have a Samās club near me and I already belong to Costco and BJās - so no good reason to go for it BUT they offered it with a $20 store credit and four free items that totaled $17, including a rotisserie chicken. The tipping point though was that my sister does live close to a Samās club and you get two cards with a membership. I bought the voucher and today went up to get the card. I got all the free items and easily used up the $20 store credit. My good buys were 1) A London Fog wool car coat for just under $20 and a lightweight Eagles football shirt for just $4.71! After shopping I went over and bought gas for $2.26 a gallon, ten cents cheaper a gallon than the going rate.
