There is nothing to do in Florida when it’s cold and crummy so I went shopping again. Bought a pretty blouse, a long sleeve tee, a cotton sweater and a pair of jeans (Lucky Brand) all on clearance at Marshalls for a grand total of $54 tax included.
Bought a flat iron at kohls, normally $50 that with coupons and rewards cost $5 and change. Of course it still required a trip the the service desk. Sigh.
Bought a pair of Classic Toms at Costco. 29.99. They had just the color I wanted.
I stopped by Nordstrom Rack today and they had a huge selection of Kate Spade handbags. I found one on the clearance rack marked down to $99 from $398!

Abasket- I’m on the central coast of Ca. This is the 2nd time I’ve seen Toms at our Costco. Last time they had Black and red. This time they had Ash and Natural. The Ash is my go to color and my most recent pair had developed a hole at the big toe. It was perfect timing. I considered getting two pairs.
I guess my wallet is lucky that I have to drive 45 minutes to get to good shopping.

Bought D an adorable long-sleeved shirt dress for $5.90 plus some Uniqlo heattec thermal garments, all of which were on clearance for $5.90 and $9.90. We get cold easily and can’t easily fine these in HI.

This wasn’t exactly something I bought , but I was pleasantly surprised by awesome service I received at a local body shop. I had to take my vehicle in for them to fix it because it was keyed when my husband used it to tow a trailer from NJ to Florida. I wasn’t very happy to have to pay the $500 deductible before the insurance kicked in , but when I went to pick it up, it was detailed inside and out !
I have never had any work done in a body shop before , but they really went above and beyond IMO.

I had that pleasant surprise as part of body work last year. My little Fit had never looked so fit! Sadly, the interior looks rather winter worn at the moment.
But my bargain is the Longchamp sale I found at a small downtown boutique having a 25% off winter sale. The fall colors were being sold off, bringing the price for the standard tote bag to around $79.00. I like the nice medium blue!
