Your Good Buy Of The Day (Part 1)

Nice! I got a $20 “we miss you” gift card from Sierra Trading Post a month or so ago. I held onto it and yesterday a 30% off coupon came so I combined the two and got a $35 (marked down to $20 then the coupon to $13 plus shipping) Moving Comfort running bra for $1.50

Lately I’ve also taken advantage of some “VIP” clubs like Shoedazzle and Thrive market, where you get a ridiculously low priced intro item or two then a monthly selection you must skip or be billed until you cancel. As there is no requirement that you buy any more, I generally cancel after a month or two. I got a terrific pair of boots for $15 shipped and a Kombucha making kit for $1 that way.

“…Kombucha making kit for $1…”

I would gladly pay $1 to anyone who takes the Kombucha bottle bought by Mr. out of my fridge!

I love that stuff. Done.

I have never shopped at Kohls before but I received a 40% off coupon and bought a blender that was regular price $229 on sale for $180 for $114. I am also getting $20 bucks to spend at the store. Plus a 3% cashback rebate from ebates.

Wow, where did you get a 40% off coupon!

Right…where did you get a 40% off coupon for Kohls? And lucky you…because around here many of their blenders are excluded from coupon offers.

Play this game on your phone or computer (you can even fail at it - I did!) and “win” free chips and guacamole from Chipotle: http://www.guachunter.com/

I got 6 free slices which I used at Cheesecake Factory yesterday, when I took SisIL to lunch for belated bday celebration. I bought some Gcerts just before Christmas – for every $25, you got 2 free slices. Gifted out a lot of those redeemed slices yesterday. Was delicious fun! They expire end of this month, so happy to have redeemed all.

@abasket I registered for Kohl’s emails and got a mystery shopping coupon. When I click on the link I could have gotten 20, 30 or 40% promo code to use at checkout. Fortunately I got the 40% off promo code.

Last weekend I finally used our Cheesecake Factory slices of joy we got for Christmas with a purchase of a g/c. The slices we got were small compared to what they used to give but they were good. We had carried out the food. The bill adds up over there.

The slices we got were decent, especially the carrot cake. It did spread some joy around.

If the slices were purposely smaller, I think that’s sort of terrible! Clearly most don’t NEED Cheesecake Factory sized pieces, but, if that’s what you expect when you purchased - the “free” coupon didn’t say, “sample sized piece” or whatever, right?!

@raclut - That’s some deal with the kohl’s coupon, kohl’ cash and ebates!! Did you buy the blender on line? Because as others have said, they are restricting appliances from the coupon deals in the stores. I, too, have never heard of a 40% off coupon! Kohl’s is having financial problems, and they are closing 3 stores in my area. As much as I do not like going there, I went to see if I could find a set of pillowcases to match a sheet set I had (something got on one of the pillowcases and discolored it, and the other one has an edged seam coming loose (I can sew that). Anyway, I had a 30% off coupon so looked there for the pillowcases. They didn’t have ones to match, but they had an entire queen cotton sheet set (very similar to the ones I have that got damaged, but a slightly different shade of gray) that was originally marked at $99 (no one pays full price though) but with the coupon off their sale price, cost $28. I also picked up some very comfy sketchers walking shoes and 4 summer tops (and had an additional $10 off misses items), so all the stuff… The sheet set, the shoes and the 4 tops, was $118. Plus got the $20 Kohl’s cash. No ebates, though.

@abasket I probably saved about $14 on two cheesecake slices so it was a good deal anyway.
If I had to pay for it I might think it was not worth it. It is really good though. You can’t just have one bite. I completely forgot my healthy eating habits while enjoying them. I remember them having cheesecake for $1 once which a meal purchase and those slices were smaller too. Though smaller it was an ample serving.

@jym626 Yes I purchased a nutribullet rx online. With ebates I heard you can connect it to your credit card and specific stores to shop on site. My transaction went through online. I haven’t visited a store in a longtime. I was tempted to print out the transaction and have Bed Bath and Beyond match it and then use a 20% off coupon but didn’t want to get too greedy. Plus I wouldn’t have gotten any Kohls cash. The Kohl’s mystery shopper coupon was only good for one day.

I have both ebates and mrrebates, but I forget to use them half the time!

I have the ebates extension for Chrome (the browser I use). If I hit a site that works with it, it tells me and sets it up.

I never heard of Mrrebates. I have heard of coupon cabin and search retailmenot.

I’ll send you a pm.

If I get another Kohl’s coupon like that again I will be sure to share it over here.
