Except the article says you can’t buy anything without joining Sam’s Club. You are welcome to browse. Doesnt that sound like fun, just walking around Sam’s Club!
I didn’t notice that! We don’t have a Sam’s Club, but if one was nearby I would visit just to see what they have. My sister does have one in her town and says it isn’t nearly as nice as Costco, employees aren’t as helpful and the quality is lower. But they might have that one expensive item in a lower price, so it could be good to check if you are shopping for a TV or bed or something like that.
I second that, we bought DS a really good mattress at Sam’s, http://www.samsclub.com/sams/night-therapy-elite-10-mygel-premium-memory-foam-mattress-twin/prod6480126.ip, our good buy for May. Found via another CC thread about mattresses.
We cancelled our Sams account years ago, but they did have great sheet cakes with filling inside. Costco’s don’t have the filling
@yomama12 I listen to npr in my car via the excellent phone app NPR One. I stream music from my phone in the car too.
Walmart has a Bissell 3 in 1 Stick Vacuum with mostly good reviews for $16.97. It can also be used as a dustbuster. Seems like a nice idea for the dorm room.
Thanks, @SouthJerseyChessMom.
@4beardolls did you use coupon ?
What coupon @SouthJerseyChessMom ?
@abasket: “I paid a total of $23 for both of them.”
Wow!
Amazon’s prime day is July 12.
(Mr. enjoys his APD deal from 2015 - the cordless electric leaf blower… The neighbor even asked where he got one.
)
Coupon code for 10% off Priceline hotel rooms - expires tonight
@SouthJerseyChessMom, I don’t think I can book a hotel by tonight. The expiration means that I have to book and pay for the hotel by tonight in order to use the coupon, right? If that is the case, I don’t think I can decide the date of upcoming travel by tonight.
Yes, it has expiration but I’ve been getting these regularly now so I can post should I receive more if needed.
^ that would be great. Thanks.
Actually a week ago, but a cast iron skillet. After the sale at work and my employee discount, I paid under $10. It works really well for me. I have little storage space for cookware in my apartment, so it’s great having one pan that does almost everything, including acting as a baking pan. I don’t even take it off the stove. I just store it on the rear burner when not in use.
Good for you! Even at full price, cast iron skillets are truly a good buy!
Just placed an order online for two Columbia fleece full zip jackets. With stacked coupon codes I paid a TOTAL of $26.28.
@undercovermom1 do you have a link to the Columbia fleece shopping site you used?
Bought an unused Cuisinart food processor at a yard sale for $10.
