@raclut did you see they also have half zips. Yeah, you’re crazy. :))
@Undercovermom1 After this I’m not buying anymore. I like full zip.
I only shop twice a year and then I am good for some time.
@Undercovermom1 - I got an “order status update” and when I read it, it only listed 3 of the 4 items and adjusted the price. No other notification . The second order, with just the one item, send me a cancellation notice.
My 3 items are supposed to arrive tomorrow (2 jackets and a blouse. Blouse was $8)
Oh wait!! Get this! The scheduled delivery date is July 11! According to the tracking it arrived across town this morning. I HOPE it doesn’t take 4 days to get across town (even with fedex smartpost). Ironically, the Fedex arrival place is on my side of town, but they sent it over to fedex smartpost, 28 miles from here, just to have it turn around and come back to this side of town!
@doschicos, glad you’re getting something for all that tuition. Mine got free laundry, which I was grateful for. Otherwise he would have washed his clothes even less.
I didn’t mention the other kid who’s tuition is even higher with no “free” laundry or “free” fridge/microwave.
But, at least they are getting a good education with small classes. Who needs sports cars and vacation homes anyway?!
$65K before books, personal expenses and travel, and no laundry or fridge. Son’s off-campus apt will requires quarters for the laundry next year. That may cut down on the # of loads washed…
@jym626 – the hand-off from UPS to USPS can delay delivery for days, at least in my area. I think I have seen Amazon & J Crew do this, but cannot seem to figure out the pattern.
Our kids had to pay to do laundry–D solved that by rarely ever doing it. Eww!
@jym626 My delivery was originally scheduled for Saturday and then moved back to Friday but then was delivered on Thursday.
In regards to a fridge for campus. I would think each college has a buy and sell facebook page. Often upper class students sell their apartment furniture and other things discounted to get rid of items when moving out. (especially seniors who are about to graduate) Also if you are willing to wait till September and then have it delivered to them you may get a better deal because the prices of college items go down once the semester starts. Find out if there are limits on the size of fridge that can be ordered for a dorm.
My daughter’s school has a big yard sale the first saturday after classes start. She got a fridge for $25 and her boyfriend took it when she left the dorm because she’s living in a sorority house from now on. If he didn’t take it, she would have donated it back to the yard sale folks.
Other things there are sofas, bikes (or you can rent one from the school for $50/sem), book shelves, coffee makers, microwaves… Just about anything a college kid would need.
Missed my good buy! I was all set to buy a Nest using their $50 rebate, called out of town for an emergency, I forgot & by the time I remembered today, it was over July 4
My fleece came yesterday. I got two and am taking them both on vacation with me. If my daughter doesn’t want one, there are a couple of other our size people that might want it.
Tracking shows the package heading back to my side of town. Earliest it could possibly be delivered would be tomorrow. Still showing as Monday.
The Columbia vest (in certain colors) comes down to $11.50 with the code @raclut posted: http://www.bonton.com/sc1/columbia-benton-springs-vest-519579.html
Target is having a home sale today up to 25% off - in store and online. College items are also on sale. I found pillow protectors, mattress pads and covers marked down. Use the code JULYHOME for an additional 10% off today (Friday) and Saturday only.
Update: I called Bon-ton and worked with a sales rep to find one in size small that they actually had in stock (according to her computer). No luck on the blues but found one in pomegranate. We applied the current coupon that priced it at $15.74 and she then waived the shipping after the order processed, and put in a request for a refund of $2.26 to price match to the original order price of 13.49. She said that takes a few days. Stay tuned…
Tory Burch - 30% off already reduced items. Lots of cute summer stuff!
My Columbia jackets arrived today, earlier than the 7/11 tracking said. They sat on my 100 degree porch until I got home today but I still tried them on. Love them! Miami and Pomegranate.
I received one yesterday and one today. Have not received my third yet. First in plastic, second loose in the shipping bag. First Blue Bell, second Deep Blush. Love them both. I believe the third is grey

All the colors are pretty. Miami, Deep Blush, Blue bell, Pomegranate. So hard to pick the colors.
Nice bright colors to beat the winter blues.
