“We know you’re going places, and with Lyft in over 250 cities, you’re covered from touchdown to downtown. Download the app and get a safe, reliable ride within minutes. Use coupon code HIPMUNK for $20 off your first ride.”

One pair of pumps successfully purchased and just as successfully returned. Let’s see is half a size smaller will do the trick.

At Meijer today. All of their Christmas food went to 50%. My Meijer had lots of Christmas K cups, not flavored coffees but holiday blend coffee such as Starbucks. I now have coffee K cups for months.

Thanks for the reminder about the food discounts! I need to check Neiman to see if their rum cakes are on sale.

Went to Nordstrom today. Found a jumper/dress, and a sweater and another dress for less than 50% of regular price. Also found some pants and a dress for less than 50% off at Banana Republic. But, since I had a credit thing for Banana Republic that I’ve been carrying around for a year or so, I got them all for 30 bucks.
Ssshhh, don’t tell. Banana Republic credit probably belonged to son, but he made out very well from me, so I’m not telling.

Costco had $20 off the large (5lb plus) packages of trimmed tenderloin. Guess what we are having for dinner tonight? Plus, it will leave us with a few steaks for grilling later. Yum.

I wonder if our store has them? Something for H to practice his sous vide skills on.

I went to Lord & Taylor to return a dress that I didn’t like. They were having 60% off on Max Mara and another 20% off on top of that. I got a dress and a pair of pants. I was supposed to get money back, but instead I spent more. I have been eyeing the dress this whole winter, so I felt like I scored by getting it at 70% off.

zeebamom, check your local Costco. Ours had a sign it is a special deal until 01/02.

We will look when we go to Costco today! That sounds like a great deal! They had baby pirtabellas $6.99 for 1.5 pounds there the other day.

Ancestry (.) com U.S. membership is 50% off thru January 4th.

Got a DNA kit for Christmas so, I decided to go for it & delve into my family history.

Good deal on Max Mara, oldfort!

Found these shoes on the clearance rack at Barneys’ - 60% off. They are comfy, look very elegant on the feet, and will go great with my NYE red dress.

BB - very jealous, love those shoes.

Thanks, oldfort! I was hesitant about the bling, but it looks very subdued irl. Someone just said they would not pay $10 for them.

DH and I are visiting SF this week. We shopped at Union square and saw that the Merrill store was closing. We were about to leave empty handed when he spotted a black pair of shoes size 10. He’s a 10 1/2 but decided to try them on anyway. When he took the shoes out of the box he saw that they were 10 1/2! What a score at 60% off $130!

H just bought me a cool set of 2 charging cords and a car and wall adapter for 2 USB cords that works for my iPhone and iPad mini for under $30 at Costco! I am thrilled and tired of the cheapo cords that break easily.

@bookmom7 - thanks for the Ancestry tip - I’ve been waiting for a deal like that!

@BunsenBurner - I’m jealous, too! Love those shoes…

My report spam button does not work on the iPhone… Will someone please report the garbage?

I got two pairs of pants at a Talbots outlet for $15.99 each yesterday. Original price was $69.50 each and had been selling at $49 on sale.

Target is a bounty of bargains as well. This week all Purina pet stuff is 25% off with the Cartwheel app. Holiday sets of Elf cosmetics (which I’ve never tried) were 70% off. I bought a box of 10 fairly small nail polishes for $3. Alas, Christmas candy is also 70% off. I restrained myself to a large bag of dark chocolate M&Ms for 94 cents.

Just returned from TJMaxx and Target. D found a couple of beautiful sweaters/sweater jackets for under $20. Lots of home items discounted.

Target - oh my, if you need any after Christmas stuff…still had TONS of Christmas wrap, bags, ribbons, cards, etc. for 70% off . And all lights! They had TONS of lights. Are you familiar with the battery operated copper fairy lights? My girls love these and I have used them this year as well. A box of 35 lights (10 feet) regularly $8.88 for about $2.80! They have a timer so they will go on for 6 hours (you decide when you want it to start) and then off for 18 hours. These were a steal! They were the Phillips brand.
