@1214mom I didn’t get the bag (I did put it in my cart though) I spent double the money buying textbooks for my kid instead. So the money was put to good use.

Got my longchamp bag and my credit, so total was $80.69 The one I bought for DS’s fiancee’ cost $145, but I had nordies giftcards, so… free 
Speaking of free, had several Amazon gift cards, so sent a baby gift to a friend’s son/wife/baby and ordered a waterproof rain jacket for myself (still have $35 in credit on Amazon after these purchases, if my DS doesn’t snare it). Interesting though-- I looked on the amazon website before logging in, found the rain jacket for something like $51, and when I logged in (we have Amazon prime) the price jumped to $54! Blowing the BS whistle on Amazon for that!! But, I also have the Honey website extension on my computer which checks amazon for the best price, and I then selected a 3rd party seller (amazon store) with very good ratings that will have the jacket here next week, for $49.95. If by some chance the jacket doesn’t get here fast enough (i need it in a few weeks) I suppose I can call and cancel and then order 2 day prime. But I doubt that will be necessary as I just noticed it ships from just one state away.
My longchamp bag came yesterday, it’s very nice. I also ordered the cosmetic case for less than $30.
I’m annoyed that I didn’t see this Longchamps offer when it was available!
Did you know Amazon has a partnership with Ikea? Now they have ikea items online.

Those bags are the best @raclut . I bought D 4 of them in 2015 and they carry her junk back and forth perfectly. Clothes and bedding especially, they can be shoved into nooks and crannies of the car.
@OHMomof2 I have seen the ones which are open. This one is zippered.
Yes the zippered are what i got her. I think I bought them on ebay after price shopping them on Amazon.
But yeah the regular not-zip shopping bags are somewhat less useful than the cubes, which sort of stack, even.
We also used those bags during S’s college years. They are great! I think they are only $4 at the IKEA store.
ETA: I wish I had known about them during D’s college years. They would have helped with all the shoes…
Regarding the FRAKTA bags…there are a lot of these on Amazon. Do they come in different sizes? Are the zipper or non-zipper ones better for moving into the dorms? Or maybe a combination of both?

I received an email with an extra 40% of sale and clearance code from Bloomingdales.
I am not a department store fan - at all - but Elder Beerman sucked me in with the July 4th sale. I did get one or two nice deals (a good bra for $10, an insulated picnic basket “tote” for $10) but for the rest…I carefully clipped these coupons that have exclusions lists that take up 3/4 of the coupon. Very frustrating. I finally bought a set of fiesta trivets, cool because they’re silicone rings that nest, so take up little storage space, and very summery. $22 but I got for $12 with a $10 off $10+ coupon. I think I found just about the only item in the entire store that wasn’t over $50 that was eligible for that coupon.
So I guess it was OK.

IDK @4beardolls . They’re pretty sturdy but checked bags go through a level of abuse that is beyond me shoving it in the back of my hatchback.
Also some of them are pretty big to hold blankets and such. You’d have to check dimensions.
