Your Good Buy Of The Day (Part 1)

@doschicos You spend $10 and then you get $10 off your purchase of Clinique items.

@4beardolls - I do not think I would check them. I agree that they are pretty sturdy, but I have had better bags that have barely made it safely.

The hunt is ON!! Saks is dropping their designer clearance merch prices by 70%, and Nordie’s matching.

Success. The Manolos are mine.

@BunsenBurner the folks who own Manola also own Arethusa Farm here in CT. Once a year, they have a HUGE sale…we are talking HUGE sale…here in CT. If I’m not mistaken, the proceeds go to charity.

They are awesome business owners.

Oh…and the ice cream at aresthusa is fabulous!!

I received my $10 clinique gift. Enclosed was a $10 coupon for my next purchase. Very nice gift set.

15% off first purchase and free shipping when joining smart rewards on Clinique website.

There was a pair of UGG boots I had my eye on. Sale prices on several different sites were half off the original $195 price, found one at $85, and then found one pr in my size on Amazon, and I had a $10 gift card, so decided to order them, for $57.98.

For those who like Ugg products if you subscribe to the website you will get emails for Ugg Closet. Ugg Closet is not always open but when it is they have some good deals. Ugg is more than just sheepskin boots.
I on the other hand am lucky to live in the area of Uggs parent company and wear the sample size. I have a soon to be relative who works for them and get an invitation to the warehouse sale where I’ve gotten shoes for amazing prices.
Thank you to the poster who mentioned William Sonoma. I stopped by the mall and found the bowls that matched my plates on clearance plus got the extra percent off.

@mom60- thats where I saw some boots yesterday- got an email form offers.com about a one day sale on uggs closet boots. These, by the time I paid shipping and tax, would have cost $98.

The Kate Spade purse was purchased today discounted an additional 40% off. Final price $71.

Nice!!!

This is a small ā€œgood dealā€ but it made me smile. Went to pick up some OTC anti-seasickness stuff for an upcoming trip (always love to be over-prepared) and the machine that spits out coupons when you scan your card was down for the count. Manager fixed it, scanned my card, and it gave me, among a bunch of coupons I don’t need, a $3 off any purchase coupon. So I used it for the anti-nausea stuff. When the receipt printed, it gave me another $3 off! so I bought some paper towels that were on sale so I didn’t forget about the coupon. So essentially got 2 tings for half price.

Oh, and after working my way through the HP customer-no-service and errors, they are finally, supposedly, shipping me a courtesy replacement cartridge for the defective one. f it comes, and if its the right one (they previously sent confirmation of sending a cartridge— the wrong one!), it will replace the $35 defective one.

H wanted his new pair of slacks hemmed. I wasn’t thrilled with paying for it to be done so I hemmed them myself and saved us whatever the going rate for hemming slacks is. :-). Hemming I can easily do! I hemmed all D’s prom gowns.

That’s good saving you made @HImom for hemming slacks and gowns.

Has anyone used Nordstrom’s alterations? We bought a suit at Nordstrom’s Rack (60% discount from retail) and had it altered by their in house seamstress. The alteration will be ā€œcreditedā€ for their card holders in terms of ā€œNordstrom Notesā€ to be spent at either the regular stores or the Rack.

Birkenstock sandals (the popular Gizeh style) for $49.99 at Costco! (Usually over $100)

I have used alterations at Nordstrom rack but not at Nordstrom. They were ā€œincludedā€ in the price of the suit jacket.

I love Birkenstock’s. Is that only in the store @katliamom? I don’t have a Costco near me.

Well, YAY! The HP replacement cartridge arrived!
