@deb922 I didn’t see it online, so it could be an only in-store deal
Wanted an iPhone case since I just replaced 2nd iPhone screen in < 1 year. I shopped Apple, Amazon.com, Costco, WalMart and Sam’s Club. Since I have a 6s, selection was limited–stores had lots of 7.
Costco suggested I try BestBuy for in stock older models, so at BestBuy, I found an Otterbox Commuter case. It was marked $39.95 but they agreed to match the Amazon.com price $16.95 plus tax. They even installed it for me. I’m very pleased! =D>
I’ve had good luck with Best Buy. They will quietly match a competitors price. I found this out after leaving the store empty handed once and the employee at the desk next to the exit asked if I was able to find what I was looking for. I told him that I did but not at the price I wanted. He brought me back to the dept. and they honored the competitor’s price when I showed it to them on my phone.
Bed bath and beyond is having a three day sale on all coffee and cake cups. 20% off plus you can use additionally they are 20% off or five dollar off coupons. I got two different boxes of 48K cups each for $37.98 total
A Best Buy employee recently showed me how to quickly check for a lower price in the store. All of you might already know this but it was news to me. If you open the Amazon shopping app on your phone, there is a camera button at the end of the search box. Use that to search on the UPC code. If there is a lower price that is fulfilled by Amazon, Best Buy will automatically match the price. Just show it to the checkout clerk. I saved a good bit on a Samsung accessory for my phone and it couldn’t have been any easier.
@katliamom, thanks for the Birkenstock Costco tip; what a great deal. I got there too late as they were all sold out - need to go right away next time!
I also just got back from BBB. Got about $25.00 worth of K cups for about $15. Saved $9.90 using a $5 off coupon on top of the 20% they were already reduced.
LOL on the autocorrect in my earlier post about the Kcups (not cake cups) on double sale at BB&B. I also had a coupon cor $1 off Starbucks kcups, but I didn’t buy Starbucks coffee today. .
@katliamom Darn! Either I was too late or they were sold out of the shoes at my Costco, too. Were they near the clothing and athletic shoes, or.could they be hiding somewhere else?
The ones I got were stacked near the clothing & other shoes.

It’s only $80 ^^ for one year.
OK- this is going to be complicated, but it was fun to stack all these!
Went to Office Depot. Bought several HP ink cartridges for one of our printers. Office Depot charges more for their cartridges on the shelf than on line, so always pull up their web prices and they will price match! They had a deal going that if you spent $85 on cartridges, you got a $15 giftcard. So with the price match (I saved $11 with that) the cartridges cost $89. I also had, and used, a coupon for $10 off for spending over $50 on the HP cartridges, and I had a $30 rewards coupon. So the cartridges cost $53.72 (with tax). It then gave me the $15 gift card AND 40% off filing supplies (and I was buying 1/3 cut file folders.) So the file folders came down from $7.99 to $4.79 - and was then free with the giftcard. With the remaining balance on the gift card, I bought 3 reams of high quality paper that was on sale from $8.29 to $6, and it was a buy 2 get one free deal, so the 3 reams of paper cost me $2.80.
So,the ink was about half price, the file folders were free, and I got 3 reams of good quality paper for $2. Now I am off to send a thank you/review of shopping experience with the 2 clerks who were so helpful!
Kohl’s offering 30% off for 30 hours when using their app for online purchase ---- code is thirty
Amazon Prime Deal of the Day (expires in a few hours, but may continue for Prime Day) is HALF PRICE ($99.99) for 23andMe test kits that include BOTH the ancestry and health reports.
I wish I had only paid $99.99. I bought it for the Mother’s Day/Fathers Day deal of $20 off for $179.
Macys is having their Black Friday Sale in July. Online only and shipping is free. Pretty good deals.
Oh pish. The ugg boots I bought the other day are a prime day sale today. And I got another $10 giftcard. But the base price of the boots went up $15 from what I paid and will then be discounted 30% from the higher price, which is a net price difference of $10 less than what the price was when I bought them. I had a $10 giftcard that day too, so the price I paid then is what the price is today (before I would have applied the new giftcard).
They claimed there was only 1 pr left in my size the day I bought them. That is apparent;y no longer the case.
