I’ve been looking at this jacket. But the only color I see in a small or medium is a cornflower blue…which I love…but not in outerwear.
Did you all buy the last black ones in S and M?
I got the cornflower blue. There was still white available in M when I looked, but both DD and I are always messy, so white seemed risky. I didn’t even see black in any size. The blue is pretty and will work well with most of my clothing - especially my walking/running gear.
I just ordered blue in M for DD and white in L for me. I am in between M and L but prefer M if they fit loose. Just hope L is not too large. Thanks to everyone for commenting and @Madison85 for posting it.
BTW, the are having a flash sale on camping stuff today only.
@4beardolls I got my daughter the blue as well, and she is a small to medium. Got the medium so she could wear a jacket underneath. She sent pics, is very nice.
Well, the sale appears to be ending on the North Face Resolve Rain Jackets. I place the order and then it stopped while I was trying to process it. I was given a notification to contact customer service and spent some time with her. She finally said that I need to send in a screen shot so that a supervisor can escalate it and give me the price it was advertised at. I took the photo of my desktop screen and they promised to get back to me within 48 hours or so. The REGULAR price which the CS person said was on her screen is $90 apiece (not interested at that price at all).
@HImom, I just went on the website and the sale is still going on. Maybe the particular model/size you selected was not on sale? For example, the white/grey is $99 where as the blue is on sale: originally $90 on sale at $64.97 then additional off of $38.98 = $25.99.
Yes, I was trying to get the blue but the CS person said it was $90 on her screen. I don’t know why. Anyway, I have a screen shot. By the time they call me back, who knows if they’ll have any inventory left. I sent them a screen shot. I’m not impressed so far with their CS folks–get different answers about shipping every time I talk with them.

Look what you guys made me do. All week I kept the jacket in my cart but did not purchase it. Now I finally gave up and purchased two for my daughter but the 2nd one is another North Face jacket that is quite similar. The only difference is it is $3 more and has armpit zippers. (I have no idea why) I purchased a small size in pink. Watch the video.

The other rain jacket I got in blue.(the one you all purchased) I was hoping a small size in Trellis green would come up but they don’t have it.

I too bought the blue jacket last week for my daughter. I think we should all get together and wear our blue jackets. We’ll look like a cult!
They are lovely jackets. I like the shade of blue, but they are getting lower and lower on sizes and colors over time. The other style with the zip pits is a nice option as well. I’m not positive whether I will buy–may take the problems failed purchase attempt as an omen–too much STUFF.
I got a medium Venture jacket in white for my 5’1", 110lb daughter. It’s roomy, but not huge. @raclut The armpit zippers are for ventilation - the material doesn’t breathe so it can get warm. My daughter was wearing it in the house all day with the zippers open. She’s pretty picky so I’m glad she liked it!
@RyanG1207 I was going to get medium because daughter is 5’6" and about the same weight but always complains that medium size is too big.
Last year I got the Columbia Benton jacket posted here (it was very popular here) in medium and it was roomy so now she insisted on the small size.
I guess she will wear it while working out so the armpit zippers would be helpful.
I broke down and ordered a pink jacket for myself. My rain jacket is very old probably 20 years so it will be nice to have a new one.
They were sold out of the mediums but I’m pretty consistently a small in north face so I’m pretty confident
@raclut I think the small would have been just right for my daughter, but she doesn’t mind the bigger size. She can probably wear a thick fleece underneath for use in colder weather.
Nordstrom is having their 40% off sale. I was quite annoyed yesterday when I popped into the flagship store. There was only a handful of sizes available of the things I wanted, but the SA enthusiastically wanted to help me order my size online. Uhmmm… I can do it myself. I came to the store was because I wanted to try the dress that had mixed fit reviews; it was not clear if the reviews talked about US sizing (way too big for me) or Euro sizing (just right). The SA said they had just one of each sizes… and mine was sold out, but available online. Now I have to order 2 dresses and hope one fits. Sigh.

Well bought a plane ticket on Th/Fr from HNL to IAD, roundtrip. Today, bought same itinerary for more than $200 less for H to accompany me! Thank you, United!
For those who have been following the discussions referencing the Instapot, it is on special on Amazon again for $69. Not quite as low as last summer’s prime day but better than it has been in a while. It is the Duo060 7 in 1.
Whoops, it is $79 not $69.
I will wait till black Friday for the instant pot.
