So I received a package today from Penzeys. It was my Earth Day weekend order. I think my order from yesterday already shipped also. No word about the Heart and Soul weekend orders. I bet they ran out of Gift Boxes. This means that I donât have any curry until further notice. Darn. Doesnât look good. I have a South African blend I guess I could sub. Also I was going to order an 8oz Mexican vanilla today and get a free Northwoods and Fox Point. Maybe Iâll add a curry so I can have it before the end of May.
^Also I received paper clips??? in the order. Why would i be sent four paper clips? Also a sample of murals and a sample of paprika, yum.
I just received my Heart and Soul order. Had to unpack it carefully, though. They put some sample packets in, too.
I havenât heard a thing since placing the order. I ordered on the 15th when the deal was posted here.
One of my kids received there package today and was very pleased. Used it on dinner tonight. I should have ordered one for myself, too!
@doschicos @Singersmom07 Did you get an email from Penzeyâs, tracking number when they shipped or did the package just show up? I ordered one for myself and also for one of my kids when it was first posted here but the orders havenât been received yet.
@sevmom I got a tracking/shipping notification when they were shipped. One was just a few days ago. As far as timing of my order, I placed my order very shortly after deb posted about the promo. They have stated they are backlogged and ran out of jars but that they should come in soon and are working on fulfilling all orders.
I havenât received my spices yet either.
So, placed three Penzeyâs orders same day that Deb posted. Got email today with tracking, saying order would be delivered by end of today; last tracking location was in Wisconsin today. HmmmâŠIâm on West Coast.
Looked closer and the order number they list doesnât match any of my three orders. DangâŠ
@gosmom They donât match order numbers and shipping numbers apparently. I also have a mystery order on itâs way
This has become such a mystery!!!
I only know that if Deb hasnât received hers yet, Iâm not worried about mine yet! She started us all down this mystery path! (thank you - I think!!)
@sevmom I received an email with a tracking number a couple of days after it shipped and it arrived 5 days later.

Got an email from Penzeyâs that my order shipped yesterday. Placed the order on 4/15.
^ in penzy today and expressed concern about Bill penzy making money with the big five always- cashier said oh " so many people bought enough for free shipping $20- to get free âsoul boxâ made tons of money - yeah 
We donât have a Penzeys. I have finished my spice stock up and spring cleaning.
For free I ended up with 3 boxes of Heart and Soul, 3 half cup Northwoods, 1 half cup Sunny Paris, 1 half cup Fox Point, probably 1 half cup Mural of Flavor and 1 half cup Smoked Paprika and a mug.
At a good price a cinamon Gift Box and a bunch of $1 oreganos and $2 Ozarks.
In bulk, taco seasoning, whole tellicherry peppercorn, Vietnamese cinamon, Mexican vanilla, grey sea salt, corned beef spices
Some smaller jars but most whole if possible. (Just bought a $9 Olivewood mortar and pestle to grind) and a couple of hard to find spices.
Overall Iâm happy but so much for spending freeze April @deb922. It cost $150 with no $ wasted on shipping and a bit better value on bulk and grind able. I did have a gift card to use but that was a lot. IMO
Update from Penzeys, spice friends. They are out of Heart and Soul gift boxes. Any other spices ordered will be shipped separately and later when they are in stock the H & S boxes will ship.
Side note: DS3 said my apple pie last night was the best ever and could win contest. I was confused because I made it just like every other pie (cheating and use the Trader Joe pie crust too) and then I remembered that I had used the Vietnamese Cinnamon for the first time. Glad I bought that one in bulk.
