Your Good Buy Of The Day (Part 2)

I’m a bit late with the reminder, but there are still a few hours left to get up to $500 worth of Target :dart: gift cards at 10% off, plus another 5% back if one uses the Discover card. Perhaps other cards as well?

My good buy today was sets of 6 mesh drawstring bags (3 different sizes) with toggles for $4 at Walgreens. Because we got several different shots there, we got coupons which we redeemed to get Walgreen’s cash on our account. I bought 3 packs of bags and paid <$3 for them after they applied my $10 Walgreen’s cash. I’m happy!

I love mesh bags for laundering delicates, organizing packing, and I guess I will now try using them for produce, as that was what it was advertised for.

Well darn, the kids were going to try buying Target gift cards and then buying Disney gift cards with them, but we all totally forgot.
Oops.

Not exactly a good buy, meaning inexpensive, but I found the very last silver Star of David yesterday in my local mall. My friend and I went to Macys, Neiman s, Bloomies, Tiffany, and then, finally, the David Yurman store itself. They had one, just one left. Minutes before they sold the last of the black ones, and only had the plain silver one left, which is what I wanted.

I can’t remember where someone was asking about them, but looks like tiles for finding things are on sale at Amazon today.

Just an FYI…I was just at my local Target store. It was a huge mess. They are now just putting out their Christmas stuff…and it was impossible to even navigate the holiday section of the store. The toy section was a mess too. It took me 20 minutes to even find any Duplo blocks and that was because another customer found the two sets (yep…that’s it…two sets) that were no where near where they should have been.

I couldn’t even find regular milk or dark chocolate hersheys kisses…and I needed molasses but they only have that online.

And they wonder why people don’t go to their stores.

The store was just putting out Christmas/Holiday stuff??? Ours has had it for weeks - months!

Maybe it’s just your store? People can’t get enough of Target around here. By far one of the most popular stores year around for all kinds of things.

Yes…no decorated trees, ornaments and candy and toys a huge mess.

You have to wonder what they did on Black Friday!

There’s also another one called Tile Mate Essentials that’s a little cheaper. I would link it but I can’t seem to get into Amazon without my name showing.

We have 3 pets coming for Christmas, and 2 of our own.
I just scored FREE baby gates from our neighborhood group to help keep them separated.

Yeah, our Target is a mess. Things they say online that they have items in stock that are not. Some empty shelves, others in disarray. I went to pick up some shirts & sports shorts for H’s birthday a while back and struck out. Luckily there’s a Marshall’s in the same little mall that had a great selection, so the day was saved.

GMA Deals has their 50% off bombas today. You do have to pay for shipping but this is the best deal I see on bombas.

Thanks for sharing. I didn’t need any Bombas but saw Ecco shoes that I could use at 50% off.

Tell us more about GMA deals and steals… new to me.

Lots of shows-Today Show, The View, GMA, The Talk, etc. have segments where they promote products at a discounted price. They get something out of it and the businesses get exposure and business.

Thanks. Just sent some Wolferman’s baked good to my parents. That should give them something fun while I work on Christmas shipments.

For folks who don’t wear prescription glasses: check if your vision plan covers non-prescription sunglasses! I was pleasantly surprised that mine did. So a nice pair of Maui Jim polarized glasses at Costco optical cost me only a $25 copay! Yay. I had no idea some vision plans provided such coverage.

So I didn’t find any items I need for gifts or self. But there are some really good markdowns on Macy’s travel stuff. It looks like free shipping if over $25
