My first google name-sharer is a professional bull rider. 
Lots of them, doing perfectly ordinary things :-). I have a common last name and a dated-but-common first name.
My Google doppelganger…Let’s just say it’s one of the most famous musicians of all time. I don’t come up in the first 200 ghits.
Damn. (Can I say that?) If I google me, it is me followed by a bunch of deceased people. 
My husband has a common name that he shares with a very well-paid major league baseball pitcher.
Mine is an Irish pub. 
I keep meaning to go there but it’s about a 5 hour drive…
You can use startpage.com to get google searches without your history. Without my history, I still come up on the 2nd page and my name + my school comes up as a suggested search.
Thanks, Romani. I’m afraid that if I google without the search history, those deceased people will come up three pages long and wide before I show up.

I used to be the only person with my name in the Google data. Now there is a second person with my name (ethnic spelling of my first name). My kids’ names are much more common, one D has an artist with her name, other D has several doctors. Son’s name is very common, a more interesting listing makes custom surfboards,
I’m one of a kind. Both maiden and husband’s last name. Husband and kids are also one of a kind.

^Yeah, I used to have a last name which was only my family’s. There were almost none of us in the US. Then I married H, with one of the more common Irish names. And he has one of the most common first names to go with it. Never mind doppelgangers, I see people with his name all the time without even trying.

Yikes…I did the google image search with a picture of me. I got a few nice looking women including Meryl Streep, but then I got Camila Parker Bowes and a 20 year old pic of Hilary with longer hair. What the heck???
