<p>^For real. When I tell people I visited Notre Dame in France (pronouncing it the proper French way), they always get so confused. Then I remember that people here pronounce Note-er Dame (rhymes with tame) because of the college.</p>

<p>haha well i live in Calgary now, so we’ve got:
-Irikana
-Beiseker
-Rockyford
-Strathmore
-Cochrane
-Airdrie
-Okotoks</p>
<p>etc…</p>
<p>there are some cool names though, like Red Deer, Bear’s Paw, Medicine Hat, and Moose Jaw</p>
<p>Edit: Concord, Ma has surrounding towns of generally similar names of English Origin [Lexington, Framigham, Acton, Waltham, Boston, etc…]</p>
<p>No **** Rad-In-Plaid…I know MA=Massachusetts…smh.

<p>lol Medicine Hat. I remember the first time I heard that a hockey player was from there I was like “***?” It’s a pretty baller name, especially once you start wondering what a Medicine Hat looks like and where I can buy one</p>

<p>Parsippany. Weird name, now that I think about it.</p>
<p>Florence. Verr’ classy. Too bad it’s in a stereotypically unclassy state.</p>
<p>Palm Springs. I think it’s pretty classy. It’s a pretty classy town.</p>
<p>Yeah about Medicine Hat, Alberta - Canada has tons of weird town names. Other hockey players hail from places like Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan.</p>
