<p>Not sure where things stand after the market crash, but over the last few years, Grinnell has had the largest per student endowment of any LAC and easily a top-ten per student endowment period. It is a very, very solid school financially, hampered in the rankings only by the fact that the trendsetters in the Northeast corrider look down their noses at flyover country.</p>
<p>The location is not the most exciting, but it’s as good as a school can be and I’d go there without hesitation.</p>
<p>It’s a top LAC that’s a wonderful fit for students who like to study hard, and who don’t mind living in the sticks.</p>
