Tell me about what you’re doing to prepare for the SAT. If you’re taking classes or on your own or what. If you’ve already taken it, post what you did and your score before and afterwards.

I’m taking classes.
Price: $40
Materials: 2005 “officieal SAT study guide” & “smith & dewar” materials
How Long: Took a practice test today, 4 weeks (4 days a week) in the summer, and practice tests every saturday leading up to the PSAT. Classes are 3 hours.
Track Progress?: The first test I took is ‘pre-classes’. After the classes, we test again to see how much you’ve improved. If you need to raise yourself some more, you must do more studying on your own or request to get privately tutored and continue to see progress for the next 3 or 4 practice tests we take.
Garuntee?: There are no garuntees, but if you do your homework assignments and take it seriously, you are sure to make major improvements. Usually people raise their grade by 200 (old exam).
Extra Effort?: I’ll try to read a little more and I’ll be studying a lot of spanish, so that should help with the vocabulary.

This program is district sponsered. I say that’s an incredible good deal!
