<p>it doesn’t necessarily have to be college credit courses, i know some universities just have like pre-college classes not for any credit or anything (just see the school and learn in a field of interest over the summer)</p>
<p>RISD pre college was the best experience of my life. it cost a lot, it was 6 weeks, i did darkroom photogs. For anyone interested in art, i highly recommend this, they have scholarships too.</p>
<p>The classes are super intense and help you decide if you want to really go to art school. Basic design, Foundation drawing, and your major class are all 6 hours a day, major twice a week, the other two once a week. Art histroy is like…2 hours and once a week. You get homework. Be prepared to perfect the art of an all nighter.</p>
