I would really appreciate any and all comments as well as tips.

Thanks alot :)

Whats your 1500 time? If your 4:05 or faster you may have a shot at being a recruited athlete.

My 1500m is barely mediocre. More of the slow and steady plodder here.

Hey, ill chance back as well :)

If you’re white:
Your ECs are really lacking… Even if you get your SAT writing up 100 points, I still see you being waitlisted. If you’re recruited, you have an excellent shot, but otherwise I’d say your chances are pretty slim…

If you’re black/Hispanic/Native American:
You’re probably in… Just raise that SAT writing score 100 points or so.

URMs aren’t held to the same standard as everyone else as far as admissions go, so if you’re a URM, you’ll probably be fine, but if you’re not then I don’t see you getting in unless you’re recruited… Your application is rather mundane, no offense. Apply to a bunch of top schools, a couple might accept you! Best of luck!

The only things holding you back are the EC’s try to join some clubs related to your major and hold some leadership positions. Race does play a role not because standards are lower but because its more interesting and respectable for a URM to have spectacular stats and cliche for ORM to have spectacular stats. Chance me back!

mmmn, what do you mean specifically by ECs?

Thanks alot :)

What the hell? Why Dow it matter if your white or black?!

Oh, I’ll explain that. If you are black or Hispanic, in other words a URM, that is considered a hook. Top schools seek to be diversified and create a microcosm of the real world within their walls. This makes the high achieving minority a very desirable asset. Or something like that.

Are you an international applicant and, if so, what country?

Ah, I see now thanks :)

Yes i am.

Singapore. :)
