"My parents were born in 1917, and my mom once said that the hardest she ever heard my dad laugh at a movie was at Animal House. It is one of our favorites, as well. It came out around the time that DH and I started dating. And my own kids think it is hilarious. Three generations, and all any of us had to say is, “Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? No!”… And we all crack up. Pretty sure my parents are watching Animal House, Blazing Saddles, and Young Frankenstein in heaven right now and cracking up as I write this.</p>

<p>Okay, so this is sorta out there, but “The Last Supper”(1995) featuring Jason Alexander, Cameron Diaz, is a hilarious black comedy. A must-see!!</p>
<p>My favorite laugh-all-the-way-through movie is Elf. I don’t know why, but I never get tired of watching it, year round.</p>
<p>For the older crowd, Bad Santa. I’m embarrassed to admit that I like this horrid movie, but I do.</p>
<p>Also, anything with Hugh Grant. If Colin Firth is in it, it’s a bonus. We like both Bridget Jones Diary movies with these two as rivals.</p>

<p>Anytime I watch Meet the Parents I still laugh at the same parts over and over again. It is mostly the ‘kung fu grip’ scene on the airplane. I’ve seen that movie so many frickin’ times and I can never not laugh during it.</p>
