<p>@SyrAlum - Funny you should say that as Syracuse was where my dad’s company was headquartered and I have zero recollection of the Yumbo. But if you ate it while at Syracuse it was definitely at one if his restaurants. </p>
<p>I grew up in Michigan and went to college in the 1980’s. The burger kings up there use to have a ham and cheese with mayo and lettuce on a long bun. I don’t remember what it was called though… they also sold them in the Chicago area at least until the late 1990’s. .Although not all Burger Kings sold them. Maybe they sold different kinds of sandwiches based on the region? </p>
<p>I looked at the picture and it looks like the sandwich I remember. I’m not buying the 40 year hiatus though…</p>
