Does anyone have any experience with zero gravity chairs? I’d like to get one for DH for Christmas for reading/dozing by a large window we have with a beautiful view. It’s an odd, small space, so I need something fairly narrow.

Here’s one on Amazon with some good reviews:

They look good, but seems like an outdoor item. I am looking for something for the sunroom in our new house (we are building) but I want something that looks more like indoor furniture. They look pretty comfortable, though.

If you want something durable and classy looking, I have one word for you: Stressless. I’m seriously thinking about getting one for DH. He will have to do a lot of reading this winter, and our living room chairs are all old pieces of IKEA junk - not easy on the old bones. The price might send you in a state of shock:

Thanks, BB. The Ekornes chairs look great, and it might be possible to get the price down to around $1k with the special, but they have stores only in a few states, none near us in NY. The Relax the Back pieces are way too expensive.

MOWC, there seems to be nothing between the lightweight “outdoor” styles and the very expensive “indoor styles.”

Ekornes furniture is sold at many stores specializing in Euro-style furniture (in my neck of the woods, it is carried by ScanDesign, Dania, Skarbos, just to name a few). I’m sure you can find who carries this line in your area! Some stores might even have display models for sale.

I know. That’s what I’m struggling with for my sun room. I don’t want it to look like a den (as we used to call them back in the day), but it IS indoors…

Okay, it’s an outdoor camping folding recliner, but it’s incredibly comfortable, and my husband’s chair of choice outdoors: La Fuma. When I was recovering after my knee surgery, I used mine for three weeks straight, indoors.

The closest furniture equivalent that I’ve found is LaZBoy. Very comfortable.
