ZOT Account and Financial Aid

<p>I have applied for financial aid. I checked my ZOT Account recently and it shows my registration fees, in addition to certain “Credits” ( I assume from financial aid.) However, My financial aid funds are listed as “Unapplied” What does this mean? I completed and turned in all forms required in order for me to receive the financial aid, including the EFT form which I mailed out last week, Monday the 14th. </p>

<p>Does “Unapplied” mean that the funds have not yet been applied to my registration fees? Or that they have been applied, but that somehow I haven’t really officially received them/I have to do something else to get the funds? Perhaps somehow my application for financial aid is incomplete?</p>

<p>Edit: A little more details:</p>

<p>I applied for a parent Loan as well as a Federal Direct Loan. Apparently, only the Parent Loan fee has been applied to my registration fees, and is the only form of financial aid that shows up on ZOT Account. </p>

<p>ZOT Account shows me I owe a certain amount for registration fees, a $100 Unapplied “Payment/Credit” for the Fall 2006 SIR Deposit, as well as the Parent Loan Payment/Credit, which is also labeled as Unapplied.</p>

<p>I called OFAS (Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships) and I talked to this really impatient lady… and I asked about the “Unapplied” next to my Federal Pell Grant and Academic Competitiveness Grant. At first I thought it was because I hadn’t mailed in my EFT/Mail Form yet, but that’s not why. She said it’s because my total grant $ amount isn’t enough to pay for my entire Fall 2006 bill… and that’s all o_O</p>

<p>I also have an “unapplied” next to my SIR deposit of $100 and I’m guessing it’s for the same reason as I mentioned above.</p>

<p>You should call just to be sure; expect a long hold though, before being connected to a mean lady hahaha</p>
