I always found the Gabor sisters to be funny. That’s the difference between they and the completely devoid Kardashians. Plus, the Gabor sisters had talent. Didn’t realize until I read Zsa Zsa’s obit today that they were wealthy immigrants. I grew up thinking they were hard scrabble WWII refugees.
Saw Eva when she was a guest on one of those Hollywood variety shows in the early 1970s. She and the host walked to the front of the stage to chat with the audience. One guy stood up and began his question with “…Zsa Zsa, I loved you in…(name the show).” Eva let out some sort of primeval scream, sprinted towards the guy, and promptly slapped the poor man upside the head. The name is EVA, “Daaaaahling…”
