OMG!

I KNOW, right? Wow, didn’t see that coming! I’m not happy!

WOW, so disappointed. I guess I’ll watch the next few episodes and decide if I’ll follow the show next season.

I was shocked. Apparently it’s been in the works for a while.

I was stunned. I don’t know if they managed to keep this a well-kept secret or if I just missed hearing about it but I was really shocked that they did something so risky and unexpected.

Shocked!!!

Definitely threw me for a loop as well. (And yes, it was a well-kept secret). About the only clue that something was amiss was that I thought it was odd at the beginning of the episode that they were focusing on a Will Gardner trial instead of something that Alicia and Cary were doing, or one of those situations where the two teams of lawyers were competing against one another for clients. The client on trial was one that Will stole from Alicia a few episodes back.

well for someone who usually and unfortunately hears these spoilers accidently, this one was a huge surprise.

Do tell, I missed it!!!

GA2012MOM, I’ll PM you. Don’t want to spoil it for others!

Yep, I was shocked and surprised too! It will be interesting to watch the rest of the season! I am glad I saw it right away since the internet tends to throw spoilers in your face–I hadn’t watched another show yet, and found out on the internet.

If you watch–go watch it soon so you can have that OMG moment!

That was a real surprise. I am rarely awake for the late night shows, but I did set the DVR to catch Letterman tonight since Josh Charles is to appear and discuss Will’s death. I’m glad that Alicia and Will had a kind moment between them that left them in a fairly good place. I can’t wait to see how Diane and Alicia react going forward. At first, the previews made me think Alicia and Diane would become partners, but then they showed Michael J. Fox coming back. While I love him, I detest his character.

Hey, 2VU0609 – no one else spilled the beans on what the surprise was. You still have about half an hour to edit it out of your post.

I just watched the episode on CBS.com. What a surprise!

A complete surprise! We usually DVR the show and watch it much later in the week - but somehow, ended up watching it live yesterday. Am glad we did …

There were articles about a year ago that he wanted out after this season. He’s going to continue to direct some episodes.

I missed it…could someone PM me!?

Just watched the episode on cbs.com, but, unfortunately I had seen headlines of what happened on the internet. I still didn’t know how it happened until I watched. Just from seeing the headlines I assumed it had something to do with the investigation of voter fraud, but that wasn’t it. It’ll be interesting to see how tis shakes up the show.

Given how everything leaks these days, I’m amazed it was kept secret for so long.

Good commentary about the surprise last night:
<a href=“Good Wife spoiler: “Dramatics, Your Honor” shocking twist was unlike any other show’s.”>http://www.slate.com/blogs/browbeat/2014/03/24/good_wife_spoiler_dramatics_your_honor_shocking_twist_was_unlike_any_other.html

Sorry I couldn’t edit earlier. I didn’t realize that the thread was only meant to be an OMG thread, instead of a discussion of the episode.
