Hey,

Thank you for the previous post; it was very informative but I’m looking for something a bit more specific. I’m a Class of '19-er, so right now I’m going to be starting eleventh grade in a few weeks. I’ve done my basic research but I’m still confused about when to take the SAT subject tests.

I’m going to be taking the M.Bi.P.C stream, and so I’m looking to take two subject tests in the sciences and the Math Level 2.

Which ones of the science Subject Tests are easier from a C.B.S.E studying Indian student point of view?

I’ve gone over the syllabus for most of these tests and obviously I do not know some of the topics on there. When would be the best time to take the SAT subject tests such that the syllabus will be covered in school by that time and it won’t be too late? Will I have to study some of those topics before it is covered in school in order to take the SAT Subject tests in time?

Oh, and if any of you have good tips for someone who’s doing self-study for the SAT, that would be really nice.

And if any of you could recommend good books for studying? Right now, I have Barron’s for SAT I and have started on that. I also have Barron’s SAT II Biology and Princeton Review’s SAT II Chemistry and have no idea what to do with them.

Thank you, again. :)
