Are there any high schools out there that use a 0-100 point grading scale besides the NY schools? I’m from NY, and I only see that scale used by NY high schools on chances threads.

My school uses the 100 point grading scale and it’s in NJ.

mine uses 100 pt. im in MD

Mine does too in MA

Ok, I was just wondering. Thanks

mine in PA

New York, here too, and I feel that the 100 pt. scale is a giant pain the the neck.

100 pt., PA. It seems more precise to me, but w/e.

100 pt scale here in TX. My school refuses to convert to the 4.0 scale. Fine with me.

Why? The only problem I have with it is the weighting system.

Where I am, they do it like this: You get your grade and it’s converted to a GPA, while there is weighted GPA that doesn’t make whatever you got in the course look any better.

I’m very envious of schools that do something like add 8 points to AP classes, particularly when they don’t give an unweighted GPA out of 100.
