I’m currently a sophomore (10th grade) and I took the SATs.
My scores just came out, so I was wondering what is considered a “good score” for a 10th grader!</p>
<p>Also, I took the SATs because I am currently applying to boarding schools (most of them are really competitive ones).</p>

<p>It’s probably about the same as the average 10th grade PSAT score, which is a 127. But that’s definitely not a competitive score.</p>
<p>What would be considered a competitive score?</p>
<p>That really depends on the scores you’re looking at. If you’re considering the tippy-top, then 2200-2400 would be competitive - those schools will get your foot in the door for HYP.</p>
