1610 to 2000 jump possible?

<p>Don’t get discourage by the hateful comments!!! you have to learn how to take what works for you and let the bad energy pass you by. We are in a pretty similar situations, I applied last year to Harvard, Princeton, Yale, U penn, Williams and Grinnell. I got really obsess with getting into Harvard, more because Im international and I finished hs when I was 16, and I spend a whole year at Harvard, and I found my best friends ever there. I had a beautiful life in Boston, I planned my whole life around Harvard and the awesome people I met. I came back to my country, but thinking that I would be back with my friends in less than 3 months, I did nothing but to think about it, day and night, everybody I know knew that I was applying, and that was they all asked, plus I’m from a developing country, and I was the first person they knew who ever applied to a college like this. Any way what I’m trying to tell you is not to get to obsess with any college, it was very hard when all the ivies rejected me and when I only had 2 waiting lists!! I cried a lot, my father cried and I never saw him crying before not even when my grand pa died, so it was a shock for my whole family. I had a 1800 SAT and pretty amazing EC and hs grades , but they said, however Williams and Grinnell putted me on their waiting list, and now for this year I want to give it a last shot, so I have to take the SAT again I need a 2000 as you, and I’ve been trying to improve and sometimes I do some others I don’t, but I’m positive that I will get in this time. I just want you to believe in your self I never stopped doing that and even though I didn’t get it, I’m so glad that I try and that I did everything I could, and so will you no matter what happen in the future!! I really hope that you can improve your scores as well as me!!! and be happy don’t forget about that!!

<p>What makes you think that with a 2000 SAT score you will get into the ivies? I am sincerely wondering.</p>
