17 AP Exams - I Need A Backup Plan

^When you look at his post count and activity in the testing forums, then it appears that this probably isn’t a ■■■■■ topic…it’s more likely just an ambitious/naive post, and I’m sure it will dawn on the OP (if it hasn’t already) that this workload is surely too much.

Not that it would surprise me that a CC member would attempt or even accomplish this

Anyone can pay for all 17 exams (if they have the money to waste), they just won’t do very well

I think it’s very realistic for the OP if he/she is willing to give up most (if not all) semblances (do I need the s?) of a social life, not to sleep much (if at all) from March to May, and seriously cuts back on extracurricular activities.

So, it’s possible, but it’s definitely not a pragmatic decision.

I don’t think its a joke, but it certainly isn’t a practical plan. If you want to score high on these, you should spread them out into more years.

this will be useful in life if you plan on becoming a… uhhhh… memorizer?

you won’t get college cred for many of these (ie physics b) so this is kinda a waste

I don’t know how you believe you can possibly accomplish this all in one year. Art History, Biology, World History, and U.S. History will require sooo much memorization along with all of the math related courses, and the extra elective courses is going to drive you insane. I would say to keep all of the in school classes and self-study the few that you already know some of the material to. That will be a far great enough challenge, no need to pile so many extra tests. Create a plan of tests you will take over the next few years.

You should drop some of those and spread all these out over a few years.
At least drop Human Geography. Very few schools give credit for that AP.

If I was a Harvard admissions person, I’d look at your stats and say, “Man this kid needs to get laid.”

LOL

…10char

Take AP you can actually get credit for. Even if they don’t correspond to your major directly, you could probably get some GEs out of the way. Just make sure you can actually get something for taking the AP.

Calm down bro, you gotta cut down the ap count. It’s fun planning out 17 tests to take but when you are cramming for it a week before the test, it’s a completely different story. I would recommend cutting out physics b (the C tests gives all the credit you need), and only taking 1 history ap per year. Other than that, you are fine (I guess you will be still taking 14 APs even with this eh, you will run out of stickers next year :])

IF this is true, you should maybe drop Art History, Psych, USh, World. Maybe Bio

many schools only accept certain ap’s for credit and even that is limited. many elite ones don’t accept any. look at your school list and drop some. ap psych and ap human geography frequently don’t count for instance.

Amen to samd’s comment.

Why do some many people believe this guy is telling the truth

Yeah this sounds like a ■■■■■.

If it really were real, then that’s a lot of moolah.

And a lot of no life

I think he was serious but had no idea what he was talking about.

this is the funniest thread ever.

even if this is true, this kid is posting this to boost his self-esteem. next year you’ll see a thread titled “18 AP Exams - I Need A Backup Plan”

Has the OP even replied to any of the comments that have been posted? If they were serious I think they would have responded by now…
