178 spots for RD

Since my daughter has been interested in F&M, I’d been reading the archived threads. Since the issue of the 70% ED enrollment came up, I vaguely recalled reading something from a student who claimed to have originally applied RD, but was contacted by F&M and offered what apparently was some kind of scholarship incentive to switch his application to ED.

The quote is the thread, which mainly consists of venting by a couple of disgruntled (ex)F&M students for whom apparently F&M wasn’t a good fit. Here is the link–post #9 caught my attention: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/franklin-marshall-college/36924-tell-me-about-f-m.html

I wonder if F&M actually does contact particular RD applicants to encourage them, with FA incentives possibly, to switch to ED?
